Leslie Morgan starts with original snapshots, usually very small (2" x 3"). She then scans, cleans and enlarges the images and transfers them to canvas. She then seals them with a fixative so that she can paint the color back into them, much like the old colorized B&W photos. Morgan then builds a frame out of reclaimed wood and antique bits and pieces to fit the feeling of the photo. They are one of a kind. Morgan never makes additional copies.
