After receiving his B.F.A. from the University of Georgia in 2002, Curtis Ames worked as a multimedia artist creating paintings, sculptures and installations, exploring the evaluative process of identity.
His work is in numerous private and corporate collections, and he has participated in several local public art opportunities, including Art in Freedom Park (2005). In addition, his work has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums throughout the southeast.
His work has also been included in several group exhibitions, both nationally and abroad, including the New Life Shop in Berlin, Germany.
