Laurie Adams began to persue art with classes in pottery, figure drawing, calligraphy and oil panting.
After seriously taking up painting in 1997 under Kim English, she became a member of the Art Students League of Denver and the Art Guild of Colorodo Springs where she attended classes and workshops. From there she transitioned to an exclusive study under Ron Hicks.
"As an artist it is my desire to communicate the inward significance of my subjects. Looking to uncover and express their unique personal beauty is the passion that fuels my art."
